How to share your photos from iCloud
iCloud is a cloud storage service from Apple, available on all your Apple devices.
Here's how to use iCloud to share your photos and captions with the Shortcake Albums design team.
Option 1: From your iPhone or iPad
Make sure iCloud Photo Sharing is turned on in your phone/device's settings.
Go to Settings > iCloud > Photos to see if it's turned on.
If you don't already have a shared iCloud album, here's how to create one:
Open the Photos app.
Select all the photos/collections you want to share.
Click the share icon.
Select iCloud Photo Sharing.
Create a new Shared Album.
Share your album.
Open the shared album and select "People" at the bottom
Click "Invite People".
Send an invitation to firstname.lastname@example.org. (Manually type the full email address in the TO: field when it pops up. You don't need to add us to your Contacts.)
Option 2: From your MAC DESKTOP OR LAPTOP
If you need to create a new shared album:
In the Photos app, select the photos and videos you want to share.
Click the Share icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen. (Looks like a box with an arrow pointing up.)
Click iCloud Photo Sharing.
Click + New Shared Album.
Type a name for the shared album, then type email@example.com in the “Invite People” box.
If you already have an existing shared album:
In the Photos app, open the album you want to share.
Click the Collaborate icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen. (Looks like a person’s head in a circle).
Add firstname.lastname@example.org to the subscriber list.
Repeat the steps above as many times as you need to, in order to share all your iCloud shared albums with your album designer.
When you're done, please send us an email at email@example.com to let us know that you have finished connecting your iCloud accounts. That way we will know to look for your album invitations, and we can let you know if there were any problems.
