Do I NEED TO PRE-SELECT MY ALBUM PHOTOS?

No! Expert photo selection is included in your order. Our professional album designers know to skip over your random screenshots, and will choose the best image from the 24 different faces you captured of your kids at breakfast (for example). Same goes for weddings and other professional albums.

BUT I’M PICKY. I THINK I WANT TO PRE-SELECT MY ALBUM PHOTOS. IS THAT OK?

Absolutely. You are welcome to pre-select your photos ahead of time and only share with us the ones you want in your album.

I have so many photos, though. Like…Thousands. Is there a limit to how many I can send you?

You say you have 4,000 photos from a single year on your smartphone? Completely common. We’ve seen it all. And you can share them all with your album designer.

HOW CAN I ADD TEXT TO MY ALBUM?

Captions: Many of our baby book and family album customers will connect their Facebook or Instagram accounts with us, so that we can copy captions from their online posts. Besides social media, the easiest way to add captions is to add them in during the editing phase. Our online album proofer allows you to enter notes anywhere on your design, which your album designer will then place on your page layouts. You can also send us a list ahead of time of any special memories, milestones, or highlights and your designer will refer to that list while designing your album to add captions or event titles where appropriate (for example: Trip to Colorado, First Steps, Rehearsal Dinner, etc.).

Long-form Text: From time to time we receive requests to add long form text to albums. The answer is Yes! Your album is completely custom, and we can add any text wherever you may like. Some examples of text we’ve added to albums include a news article, blog post, song lyrics, poem, and a year-end summary of your family’s year.

My Photos are on a CD. I only have one copy and I’m nervous about mailing it. What should I do?

This question comes up often for wedding albums, especially. You are very welcome to mail your CD to us (and we will return it to you!), but if you are nervous about putting your only CD of treasured photos in the mail, we understand. Here are some options:

  1. Make a copy. Burn a duplicate of your CD and mail it to us.

  2. Pop your CD into your computer and copy the files to a flash drive. Then mail either that or the CD to us.

  3. Upload your photos from your CD to an online photo site, such as Dropbox or Google Photos. Then send us a link to your online photos.

  4. Use WeTransfer to send your photo files from your CD to us.

Can I connect more than one social media account (i.e. my spouse, another family member, etc.)?

Yes! You can connect more than one social media or photo storage account from the same platform. Instructions on how to connect are on our Connect Your Accounts page. Email us with any questions.

What happens after I place my order?

After you submit your order form, you'll receive instructions to connect your social media and photo storage accounts. We currently work with Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, iCloud, Google+, Shutterfly, Amazon, and more. 

How long will it take to design my album?

You'll receive a link to preview your album design within 1-2 weeks depending on the album length. Follow the link to preview your album and make any edit requests.

Once you approve your album design it will be sent to print. Albums arrive within a few days or up to 2 weeks later, depending on the print style you choose.

What do I get for the deposit? What happens if I change my mind after paying it?

Your album will be a custom, personalized design that is handcrafted by manufacturers in the USA. The deposit is fully applied towards your total purchase cost.

If you change your mind after paying the deposit and no work has begun, then we will fully refund it. If you change your mind after design work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.

What if I take a long time to approve my final album design? Is there a time limit to the process?

We're working parents too, and we know life can get busy. So we definitely understand that you might get distracted here and there.

To keep you and your album on track, the balance for all album design orders is due 60 days after the first preview link is sent, otherwise the order will be purged from our system.

However, once the balance has been paid, we can keep your album design on file for up to one year from the date you placed the order.

If your design has still not been finalized at the one year mark, you will have the option of receiving the as-is files or paying a $50 extension fee to keep the order open in our system.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

For each album design order, you'll have up to 2 rounds of revisions included in the price. If you need more than 2 rounds of revisions, we charge $50 per additional round.

What are the shipping costs?

All prices include standard shipping costs (no surprises at checkout). Rush shipping is available for an additional fee if you need your album in a hurry.

Where are the albums printed?

All of our albums are printed and bound in the U.S. by industry-leading album makers.

What if I want to order more copies of my album later on? Do you save the designs?

Yes. We will keep a copy of your final album design in our archives, and can issue reprints or extra copies for you at any time.
