COVER IMPRINTS: Foil Stamping & Debossing

The cover imprint you choose for your wedding album or family photo book is purely a personal choice. Whether Foil Stamping or Debossing, there is no wrong answer. Read on to know a little bit more about your options and help you decide which is right for you.

FOIL STAMPING

  • Foil Stamping is available for leather or linen album covers, in Alana Pro or Garage Gothic fonts.

  • Your title imprint is placed in the lower-right corner or lower-center of the cover.

  • Up to three lines of text can be stamped on the cover.

  • The font size of your title imprint is locked and cannot vary in size per line.

  • Your imprint can have a maximum of 28 characters per line.

DEBOSSING

  • Debossing is available in Baskerville, Coco Gothic, Garage Gothic, Dessau Pro, and Eye Catching font styles.

  • Your title imprint is placed in the center of the cover.

  • Up to three lines of text can be stamped on the cover.

  • The font size of your title imprint is locked and cannot vary in size per line.

  • For a 10x10 album (most popular), your imprint can have a maximum of 19 characters per line.

CUSTOM DEBOSS

Available as an upgrade for Heirloom Albums, Custom Deboss allows you to create a completely custom imprint for your cover. Your custom design or text can be in any font or graphic, at any size. It is imprinted on the center of the cover. This option removes any previous limitations like fonts.

We know it can be hard to decide, so don’t worry - as part of our design process, your designer will share a mock-up of your album cover choices. You can mix and match or try different styles to see what works best for you.
