Your wedding day. The most wonderful blur.
Getting ready with your closest friends and family, the anticipation of the first look, heart pounding as you walk down the aisle, exchanging vows with your special person, cheers-ing champagne toasts, and dancing the night away… Celebrating with those who matter most.
Most newlyweds describe their wedding day as the best day of their life. And it's easy to see why.
You spent months meticulously crafting one very special day. You hand-picked details, accents, colors, a theme — and then your closest friends and family members traveled from far and wide to join together in supporting you on one of the biggest decisions of your life. You had the entire day photographed from beginning to end because you wanted to remember each detail.
Weeks after, you poured over the beautiful photos - sharing them with family and friends via email and on social media. Then you ordered a few prints and thought, I’ll get these into an album soon.
But life goes on after that special day. As the months and eventually years go by, you’ve added new memories (and maybe a few kiddos) into the mix. Each anniversary, you remember bits and pieces of that special day, but maybe you’re starting to forget the little details…whether it was the way your dad looked right before you went down the aisle or the total elation you felt after saying ‘I do!’
You have the best intentions of getting your wedding album completed, but life gets busy...
Meanwhile, here you are. Years after the wedding and you still want a timeless, beautiful wedding album.
You know that you owe it to yourself, your spouse, and your family to capture and preserve your wedding day in an heirloom-worthy album.
But your hesitation begins and the procrastination continues because your photos are on a CD or flash drive somewhere in that unorganized top drawer in your office. You don’t have the time to actually sit down and begin to figure this out.
“Where do I even start? Ugh, this is going to take me forever… Can’t somebody just do this for me?”
We’re so happy to say that the answer is “Yes!”
Our team at Shortcake understand your hopes and frustrations, because we’ve been there. We are wives and moms and daughters. We are working professionals with competing personal and career responsibilities (and the guilt to match). And we want to help you.
Order your wedding album from Shortcake, and we will do all the work - leaving you more time to focus on the demands of your everyday (or maybe even relax!).
We will take all your wedding photos and lovingly curate them to select the best images - creating the custom-designed album you’ve always wanted (with your input of course). Your album will print at a premium keepsake quality, and ship directly to your door in a special gift box.
Our main goal is to make it as easy as possible for you, while relieving the stress of getting this off your to-do list.
Ready to begin? Let’s plug in that zip drive (or CD) and get started! Here's the how-to:
STEP 1: Fill out your album order form
Head to shortcakeinc.com/order to start your album order and share some basic details with us - your name, email, album style, etc.
Fun Fact: A 40-page Heirloom Album with “Clean & Modern Wedding” design is our most popular choice for wedding albums.
STEP 2: Upload & share your wedding photos to Dropbox
If you've never used a cloud-storage site before, we have found that using Dropbox is the fastest and easiest way to share your original wedding photos with our designers. Here's the how-to:
Dust off that CD or flash drive, and plug it in to your laptop or desktop computer.
Log in to Dropbox.
No Dropbox account? It’s very easy to start one and they give you 2GB of free storage to begin with… it should be plenty of room.
Create a new folder in your Dropbox called “Our Wedding Photos”, or any other title you like.
- Drag and drop the folder containing ALL your wedding photos from the CD or zip drive over to the browser window where your new Dropbox folder is open.
Note: You DO NOT need to sort through all your photos first. Organizing and curating your images is included in our design service.
- After all your photos have uploaded to your new Dropbox folder, click the big blue button on the right to “Share folder”. When the sharing box pops up, type email@example.com in the To: field to share the images with us.
- Click “Share” and that’s it! You’re done! Easy right? With your order form + photos, we now have everything we need to create your custom wedding album design.
STEP 3: Relax while we design your wedding album
- Spend your newfound free time with your spouse, friends, or children. Make new memories for your next family album. Enjoy some peace and quiet.
STEP 4: Review your design for edits or changes
You’ll receive a link to preview your wedding album design within 1-2 weeks. This is your chance to share any edit requests with our team to ensure the album is exactly how you envision it.
STEP 5: Approve & pay
After all the edits are finished and you approve your album design, you’ll select the print finishes for your album (cover options, page thickness, number of copies, etc.), and pay the balance due. Then your album will be sent to print!
All Shortcake albums are printed in the U.S. - handcrafted from premium materials by professional album makers. Learn more about our albums here.
